Howell’s Cottage Inn Franchisees Committed to Keeping It Local
Cottage Inn Pizza franchisees come from a variety of career backgrounds and live in different regions, but nonetheless share a commitment to continuing the brand’s solid reputation for delicious, high-quality food in a friendly environment that reflects the communities it serves.
No one knows this commitment better than the brand’s franchisees. Meet Clint Rottermond, who, alongside his wife Heather, owns and operates Cottage Inn Pizza in Howell, Michigan.
What is your professional background? I went to school for business, which has helped me greatly in owning my own business. Heather has a degree in education, and she has fostered meaningful relationships with the schools and community organizations in Howell, which has been extremely beneficial to our restaurant.
Why did you want to open a Cottage Inn franchise? We believe in keeping things local as much as possible, and Cottage Inn is a local business that really ingrains itself in its communities. Once we tasted what Cottage Inn had to offer, we were hooked! The pizza is made with high-quality ingredients and offers something so unique that other franchises lack. We also loved the fact that the corporate office is so passionate about supporting us; they’re able to really assist us with marketing and operations. But most of all, we believed in the product and that Cottage Inn was truly a family-oriented business.
How does your Cottage Inn restaurant interact with the Howell community? We’re deeply connected to the Howell community – our daughter Aubrey attends school here, and our Cottage Inn location sponsors a youth soccer league and girls travel softball team. We also have a partnership with the Howell Parks and Recreation Teen Center.
Cottage Inn is growing quickly and needs hard-working, community-focused franchise owners to keep the momentum going. For more information about bringing Cottage Inn to a neighborhood near you, click here
