Cottage Inn Pizza Expands from Ann Arbor to China
Cottage Inn Pizza lovers can be found all over the Midwest, and now, we’re expanding into new and exciting markets as far away as China! The Cottage Inn Pizza family is excited to welcome our first international location in Qingdao, China, where residents and visitors alike can sample our fantastic pizzas and become lifelong fans.
From our humble beginnings in Ann Arbor in 1948, the move into Asia is part of Cottage Inn’s strategic goal to reach 10 new stores open or in development by the end of the year. Recently, Cottage Inn was featured in MLive to discuss franchise expansion plans in the Midwest and beyond.
After cultivating such a strong presence with loyal fans, franchising was a natural next step.
“It happened organically, that people wanted to start their own store,” said Deborah Masse, senior vice president at Cottage Inn, in the article. “Hopefully, we’re going to gear up the Midwest to go even further, faster.”
Currently, Cottage Inn Pizza has more than 50 U.S. locations and is set to add new locations in China to join the existing storefront in Qingdao.
