Cottage Inn Introduces New Taverna-Style Concept
First Cottage Inn Taverna to Open in New Hudson Late Summer/Early Fall
Cottage Inn’s fans are crazy about our gourmet pizza – and now, they’ll have even more ways to enjoy the brand. We’re excited to announce that we will open the first Cottage Inn Taverna in late summer/early fall 2017. Offering beer, wine and a selection of cocktails alongside our famous pizza, the cozy tavern-themed pizzeria concept is coming to the New Hudson neighborhood (right off of the Interstate 96 interchange between Lansing and Detroit), on Milford Rd.
The newest concept to hit the marketplace for our brand, Cottage Inn Taverna is a welcoming, family-oriented pizzeria featuring a warm and relaxed environment where guests can enjoy a cold craft beer, a fine glass of wine or one of our featured cocktails, all while experiencing the fabulous array of pizzas that Cottage Inn has offered throughout the years.
New Hudson’s Cottage Inn Taverna will be a franchise location, run by owners Sam Falk and Sean Whalen. The concept is a unique take on the quaint pizza taverns in Greece where founder Nick Michos was born and inspired the original Cottage Inn concept.

The new Cottage Inn Taverna will offer limited seating indoors and out, along with a tasty array of items found on Cottage Inn’s carry-out and delivery menus, plus a few added items that are best served in-house, right out of the oven. The restaurant will also offer a children’s menu to keep the whole family satisfied while adults enjoy a craft beer with their gourmet pizza.
Included in the Cottage Inn Taverna environment will be flat screen televisions for guests to enjoy sporting events and other entertainment.
